Ashtangar Yoga

On Thursday October 15,     We got to meet an Ashtangar Yoga practitioner, He was fantastic to work with, but quite hard to work through the Ashtangar poses compared to Iyengar, they seemed quite hard positions to get into, the poses seemed like poses meant for intermediates, instead of beginners. The yogi teacher was quite quick with his order, and it made it hard for me to get settled into one pose before the next one was ordered, otherwise it was quite an interesting work out, I enjoyed it a lot, and it showed me how far I needed to go as a Yga practitioner.

Journal 4 - Amita Bhagat

On Tuesday October 14th,    I got to meet a true student and practitioner of Iyengar Yoga. the class started at about 10:30 in the morning. She was very calm with the students, and tried each moves slowly, especially since she knew most of us were beginners, every posture and position got easier as time went on, I was so focused on the class, that I did not even notice how much time had passed before the class ended. she gave us a brief history of Iyengar Yoga, and why she enjoyed it, and to be honest it showed, in the way she taught. I Loved the class and I hope to take her class again, one day. Yoga is viewed byn the majority of practitioners a s a healing practic
